Log Analytics connection for old SCOM agents will stop working soon

If you are using SCOM MMA agents, and you have them connected to Azure Monitor Log Analytics, you will want to take a look at this.

The SCOM agents used to use SSL V1 to connect up, and this older version of communication will be closed on 1 November 2022.

Meaning that from that point on, only SCOM agents of version SCOM 2019+UR3 or higher and SCOM 2022 or higher will be able to communicate with Log Analytics to send their data to the cloud. This only has to do with agents connected to this cloud monitoring service.

So, if you have SCOM agents connecting up to Log Analytics, please make sure they are updated to at least SCOM 2019 UR3 or higher version.
