Yesterday System Center 2019 UR4 was released as can be seen in another post on this blog from today. This includes the update for SCOM 2019 as well as KB5013427.
I have been testing this update to see if we get any immediate problems in our test environment and have not had any problems yet (of course, our test environment does not contain every possible object and version).
This is the link to the Product Group blog post about the SCOM UR4 update:
Update Rollup 4 for System Center Operations Manager 2019 (microsoft.com)
Some main points to note here are:
- Support for Windows 11 agent
- Enabled .Net 4.8 support
- UI improvements in the console (several).
- A number of fixes to the SCOM console, the web console, network monitoring, APM, databases
- A list of Linux/Unix monitoring fixes.
The update files can be found here:
The SCOM 2019 UR4 packages: Microsoft Update Catalog
The SCOM 2019 UR4 Linux/Unix package: Download System Center 2019 Management Pack for UNIX and Linux Operating Systems from Official Microsoft Download Center
And as always, first check this in your test environment to see what happens!
Note: Our SCOM Health Check already recognizes this version.
