We have been presenting at SCOMathon for many years now and enjoying it, and this year we will be doing that again! 29 April 2026 is the date to save and register for! In the European CEST time zone it is from 10 AM to 7:20 PM.
For SCOMathon 2026, we are a partner, along with a few other great teams in the SCOM sphere. And we will be presenting again on several SCOM and monitoring related topics. We have been talking with the organization, also as to which topics are needed and would land, in combination with our strengths. We are presenting 3 sessions, which I will show below. Clicking a picture should take you to more details of the session.
Session number 1

Here, we will discuss what things we find during our Health Checks of different organizations over the last 7 years, and which usually resonate for a longer time in the years we have worked with SCOM (over 20 years). Common mistakes or mis configurations, design flaws, sizing, data churn, config churn, management packs, agents, connectivity, resource pools, gateways and so on. If you are interested in us doing a SCOM Health check or Audit you can check out our SCOM Health Check Page.
Session number 2

In this session we will discuss where and how you can learn about SCOM and get better at it, for all levels and roles. How to find information from Microsoft, The Community and where to find SCOM training (well, with TopQore I hope!). If you want to know more about our SCOM certification options have a look at our SCOM Certifications Page. And if you are interested in finding out more about our SCOM Knowledge Partnership this link is here.
Session Number 3

For this session we are going into SCOM Upgrades and Migrations. The reason is that the organizers and ourselves still often see older SCOM versions in use, and the upgrade or migration process getting a lot of questions. We will discuss the 3 main upgrade techniques (In-Place upgrade, Swing Migration, Side-by-side Migration) and when to use them in most cases. Pros and cons to the options, lessons learned and some practical items, as so far as what we can cover in 40 minutes. If you want to follow our 1-day (or 2 half days) training for SCOM Migrations and Upgrades you can find it here. And if you want to get in touch with us for any help through SCOM Consultancy by our SCOM Specialists, to assist you in all the steps needed, you can find us.
Finally
Of course, this is just our sessions listed above. You will find the full Agenda and Registration page for SCOMathon right here. There are sessions from several of our friends and partners, who also partner with SCOMathon, such as GripMatix, NiCE, Stoyan Chalakov, SquaredUp, Dieter Wijckmans, Jonathan Almquist, Wei Hao Lim, Nathan Foreman, And I see both Cameron and Gavin from the Fuller family! And that’s not even all of them. So It is again a full day of monitoring goodness!
See you there 29 April 2026!
