SCOM 2025 Update Rollup 1: Full List of Fixes and Improvements

Microsoft has finally released Update Rollup 1 (UR1) for System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) 2025 — almost a year after the initial launch. While update rollups supposed to arrive every six months, this one took longer like the other last few ones, but it’s packed with critical fixes and enhancements that we and our customers have been waiting for.

  • Console Authoring Pane Issue Resolved
    A major fix for administrators: content blocking in the authoring pane when working on monitors is now resolved, making custom monitor creation smooth again.
  • Monitor Authoring Failures Fixed
    Issues causing monitor authoring to fail in the console have been addressed.
  • Reset State Task Works Correctly
    The Reset State task now functions properly for monitors linked to virtual Windows computer objects.
  • Web Console Improvements
    • Column resizing issues in the Active Alerts Dashboard fixed.
    • Image blocking caused by Content Security Policy (CSP) restrictions resolved.
  • Topology and Contextual Widgets
    Icons in topology widgets are now draggable, and contextual widgets work as expected.

    Fixed failures in workflows using WMIEventDataSource that previously caused RPC errors and memory leaks.
  • Compliance Updates
    All GB18030-2022 compliance issues have been resolved.
