SCOMathon 2025 is around the corner!

Hello friends! I hope you are all aware that SCOMathon is around the corner! 30 April 2025 is the magic date and there is a lot of SCOM and monitoring content coming up again this year, with some links to AI and AIOps as well here and there.

The registration page for the event is available here: https://scomathon.com/scomathon-2025/ and you can find the agenda and all sessions there as well.

TopQore can also be found at the event as usual. We will be actively participating throughout, by presenting sessions, being available for FAQ and Q&A, and you can find us walking around the event. At any time, just come up and chat. Because all or most sessions have been pre-recorded before the event, you can easily reach us.

Scheduled sessions presented by TopQore:

Morning session by Ali Burak Genc: Enhancing IT Operations with SCOM MI & Log Analytics: Unlocking the Power of AIOps. This is all about using Azure Monitor Log Analytics Workspace and KQL to do anomaly detection and forecasting based on any data ingested into the platform, whether it is script-uploaded, connected through SCOM, SCOM MI, or Azure Monitor sources. It is a critical step on the road to AIOps.

Afternoon session by Bob Cornelissen: SCOM Upgrades and Migrations. This is a session covering your migration or upgrade options if you are on a lower version of SCOM (for example 2012/2016/2019), and what the options are to move up and become supported, more secure and grab newer features, all while preparing for the next steps in the monitoring evolutions.
This is an added session, because another speaker had to pull out last minute due to reasons I can not yet disclose, and I was asked to fill the slot.

Afternoon session by Bob Cornelissen: Battle of the SCOMs – Determining your SCOM monitoring journey in the future. Are you looking to upgrade your current SCOM to a newer version or a cloudier solution? Are you wondering what the path ahead has in store and what your direct options are? Let’s discuss how to lead SCOM into the future and make use of Hybrid monitoring and AI Operations options.

You will see our avatars walking around at the event. Feel free to contact us if you see our colleagues walking around the event, such as Bob Cornelissen, Ali Burak Genc, Martijn Weterings, and Spandana Reddy.

I sure hope to see you there!

Bob Cornelissen and the TopQore team!
